Our Warranty

Putnam Handyman Services warranty

Putnam Handyman Services Inc. warrants that all materials will be of standard or above quality if purchased by Putnam Handyman Services Inc. Any material or product not purchased by Putnam Handyman Services Inc. will not be warrantied by Putnam Handyman Services Inc.

Labor is warrantied for a period of one (1) year on contracts from the date signed. Putnam Handyman Services Inc.'s liability under a warranty claim shall not exceed the total price charged for the work performed. The customer shall make warranty claims immediately upon discovering a defect or performance problem.

In the event that the substrate or any prior coating fails beneath what Putnam Handyman Services Inc. has installed and/or applied, Putnam Handyman Services Inc. will not be held liable for the failure of the substrate, foundation or any coating. Failure to comply with the terms, conditions and payment schedule of the agreement will void all warranties.

Manufacturer warranties

Products such as composite decking, vinyl siding, windows, doors, flooring and appliances may carry a warranty from their manufacturer. Any such warranty is offered solely by the manufacturer, on the manufacturer's terms, and is between you and the manufacturer. Putnam Handyman Services Inc. does not provide, extend, guarantee or administer manufacturer warranties, is not responsible for registering them, and is not responsible for any manufacturer's denial of a claim. Our one-year labor warranty, as described above, is the only warranty Putnam Handyman Services Inc. provides.

Customer-supplied materials

Materials, products or fixtures supplied by the customer or by anyone other than Putnam Handyman Services Inc. are not warrantied by Putnam Handyman Services Inc. in any way. We are not responsible for defects, failures, incompatibility, missing parts or performance problems in customer-supplied items, nor for any damage or additional labor that results from them. Where a customer-supplied product fails and must be removed or reinstalled, that work is billed as additional labor.

This page is a summary. The signed contract governs in the event of any difference between the two.
