Signs you need new doors or windows
Rot in wood frames and sills is the clearest sign. Less obvious: rising energy bills from drafts, windows that are hard to open or won't stay up, fogged double-pane glass, and doors that stick or won't latch. If you live near a busy road, new windows also cut outside noise.
Benefits of replacing them
Curb appeal first: a new entry door is the single most visible upgrade on a house. Then efficiency: modern insulated doors and double- or triple-pane windows cut heating and cooling costs. And security: doors and windows are the weak points of any home, and new units with modern locks and laminated glass close them.

Do you install windows I bought myself?
Yes. We'll check sizes before you order if you'd like.
Can you fix a door that sticks?
Usually in one visit: plane, re-hang, adjust the strike or replace worn hinges.
What about fogged glass?
Fogged insulated glass means the seal failed. Often the sash or glass unit can be replaced without replacing the whole window.
