What soft washing is
High-pressure washing blasts dirt off, and it also blasts paint off, forces water behind siding and chews up wood. Soft washing uses low pressure and a cleaning solution that kills mold, algae, moss and lichen at the root, then rinses away. The result lasts longer and nothing gets damaged.
It's the right method for vinyl and wood siding, asphalt roof shingles, painted surfaces, decks, fences, patios and walkways.
Why it matters
Algae and moss on a roof hold moisture and shorten the life of the shingles. Mold on siding spreads into trim and sheathing. A yearly soft wash is cheap insurance, and it's the fastest way to make a house look new before you list it or before guests arrive.

Will it hurt my plants?
We wet down and rinse landscaping before and after. Properly done, soft washing is safe for plantings.
How often should I wash the house?
Once a year keeps most homes clean. Shaded north sides may need it more.
Is it safe for roof shingles?
Yes. Soft washing is the method shingle manufacturers recommend. Pressure washing a roof voids most shingle warranties.
